Wilson Offshore Series - Tower Race #1 boasts amazing conditions
Well...maybe not perfectly amazing, but after months of rain and temperatures that never reached 70 degrees, a sunny and 70's day felt just right even when the breeze died out on the way to the first oil platform (whoops)! Forutnately, it picked back up and gave the nine competing boats a beautiful downwind slalom through all seven of the oil platforms. The 18.8 nautical mile course was completed within just over five hours or less for all boats. Rock & Roll came home with the win in convincing fashion!
