Menus & Dining Hours

Dining at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club is an exclusive and unique experience like no other. Views of the harbor and ocean surround the the dining room giving most any table a stunning vantage point. Chef Mario Santamaria skillfully prepares breakfasts, lunches and dinners, often from locally sourced products. The menu varies seasonally reflecting the rich harvest Santa Barbara has to offer.

  • Currently we are only offering dining on our outside decks and courtyard areas.
  • A limited menu is offered at The Beach during Palapa hours.
  • PRE & POST COVID: Dining Room operation can be affected by special events and private parties. Please refer to the club calendar for such changes in regular dining room service
  • Please note that parties larger than 9 will require a pre-arranged menu.

Saturday Night Promotion

Every Saturday evening is now Bottle Share Night.
Bring in your favorite bottle of wine and pay no corkage.
Entrée purchase required. Limit one bottle per guest. 
Applies to 750ML bottles of wine only.

Palapa at The Beach

Regular Palapa service is closed until Spring of 2021.
Look out for our Pop-Up Palapa Hours when weather conditions permit.

Dining Guidelines

 
SBYC MEMBERS

-Members are required to wear a face mask when entering the club and whenever they are not seated while inside.
-All SBYC members must practice social distancing guidelines.
-Members must check in at the front desk before going upstairs.
-Member must be present with guest at all times. All charges must be paid via member account; credit cards are not accepted at this time. It is the members responsibility to ensure guest(s) do not display any COVID19 symptoms.
-Anyone who has any symptoms related to COVID-19 or has been in the presence of another individual with symptoms must not enter the club.
-Ordering at the bar is not permitted. Members must be seated to be served.
-Maximum party size is 9.
-Traditional menu folders will not be used. Single use disposable paper menus will be offered. 
-The menu will be prominently displayed on the SBYC website & app for easy viewing with smart phone in lieu of paper menu. Click Here for Menu.   
-Take-Out service is available during normal restaurant operating hours.

SBYC STAFF

-All team members will wear facial coverings.
-Restaurant staff will wear facial coverings and gloves.
-Employees will undergo daily verbal health screenings and will submit health attestations in writing weekly.
-Anyone who displays symptoms of illness will be asked to stay home.
-Staff members will use frequent hand washing and sanitizing.
-Social distancing guidelines have been implemented in the operation.


CLEANLINESS & DISINFECTING PROTOCOLS

-SBYC will clean and disinfect all touch points throughout the clubhouse frequently during business hours. This includes but is not limited to hand rails, counter tops, door handles, elevator buttons, restroom fixtures & furniture.
-Dining tables and chairs will be sanitized between seatings and linens (if used) will be replaced after each seating.
-Entry doors, deck doors and windows will be opened to promote constant air circulation. As a result, the temperature in the dining room will most likely be chillier than usual so dress accordingly.

THE BEACH & PALAPA

Considering state & local dining regulations,
we must practice these safety rules:
- A mask must be worn while waiting in line & ordering at the bar.
- Food & Drink must be consumed while SEATED in your area.
- No parties larger than 9 allowed at the beach. 
- Food must be purchased with drink orders.
