| Formed in 1989, the Santa Barbara Yacht Club Women add an important dimension to the activities and functionality of the Yacht Club. Generous contributions to The Santa Barbara Yacht Club Youth Foundation, educational functions, and other charities throughout the year are only some of wonderful undertakings they offer to our community, as well as our club.
The SBYCW's goal is to provide additional opportunities for women of the Yacht Club to become better acquainted with each other, to be involved in Yacht Club activities, to promote sailing and boating, and especially to provide funds for the Santa Barbara Youth Foundation and scholarships for young aspiring sailors.
Membership is open to female Yacht Club members and also to wives of members.
