What Is PHRF & One Design Racing?
Club racing formats vary with each race. Some races are based on PHRF ratings for all boats, and others include specific one design classes such as J-24's and J-105's. The master calendar shows each race and the class structure for each.

PHRF stands for Performance Handicap Racing Fleet. It is an internationally adopted standard for boat classification that enables any boat to compete in any venue with a competitive rating. Boats are rated according to their racing potential assuming that they are outfitted with full race gear and crew.
